China has developed a mobile biosafety tertiary laboratory

For China's long-term lack of high-level biosafety laboratories, the design and production experience of some key supporting protective equipment, and some key protective equipment and equipment have always depended on the status of imports, etc., in order to improve our country's ability to respond to sudden public events, supported by the 863 Program. The Academy of Military Medical Sciences and other units jointly tackled the problem. At present, it has successfully developed a three-tiered mobile biosafety laboratory in China and passed the acceptance of the National Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Health.

The mobile biosafety third-level laboratory is designed and constructed in full compliance with China's biosafety third-grade laboratory standards. It consists of a main laboratory cabin, personnel purification and technical protection cabin, and three standard shelters for the preparation cabin. Its comprehensive performance has been achieved. The advanced level of similar products in foreign countries is superior to similar imported products imported from abroad in terms of process layout, critical protective equipment configuration, ventilation control and sewage treatment, and has strong independent work and mobility, and can adapt to the needs of rapid response actions. It can be transported by roads, railroads and ships, and it can be quickly transported to designated locations in the event of a sudden public health incident or bio-terrorism attack. After the commencement, the collection, preservation, separation, cultivation and verification of suspected pathogens can be carried out quickly.

The mobile experiment was held during the 2006 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit, the 2007 Beijing "Oan-07" exercise, the 2008 Hainan "Boao Asia Forum", and the 2008 Qinhuangdao Olympics "Three Defenses" emergency meeting and other major activities. The room has played a key role in meeting the needs of emergent public health events and anti-bioterrorism emergency treatment and rapid detection, and all indicators have met the requirements of biosafety.

At present, the mobile laboratory already possesses mass production capacity and can produce 6 sets of mobile biosafety tertiary laboratories in 3 months.
