The briquette ball press line is a method of pressing powdered raw materials into shaped blocks. The main equipment is a roller briquette ball press. For the suppression of large balls, the choice of bowl size is particularly important. How to ensure that the feed is full, stable and evenly distributed along the roll width, increasing the compression ratio and prolonging the pressing time is the key technology in the design.

2.1 Working principle The roller ball press consists of two relatively rotating rollers. The roller surface has a corresponding hemispherical bowl arranged in a checkerboard arrangement. The material bites the person against the roller and compresses into a continuous ball strap. In the centerline plane of the two rollers, the extrusion stops. When the roller continues to rotate, the pressure decreases, and the pressed ball slightly increases in size due to elastic deformation, so that the fit of the ball and the bowl wall is damaged. In this way, the ball can be smoothly demoulded. The size of the ball depends on the size of the hemispherical bowl shape.
