The Key Laboratory of Submarine Mineral Resources of the Ministry of Land and Resources recently passed the on-site inspection and acceptance by experts. According to Yang Shengxiong, director of the laboratory, the Key Laboratory of Submarine Mineral Resources is one of the third batch of 46 key laboratories built by the Ministry of Land and Resources. It pays attention to open communication, set up 70 open projects and research funds of more than 3.7 million yuan. Or participate in important academic conferences at home and abroad, carry out social activities such as the “Pacific-Guangzhou” marine science classroom with great social influence, open and share large-scale instruments and equipment conditionally; purchase nearly 100 scientific research equipments and upgrade software, and expand The core sample library has built a marine geological business network and computer room. The technical equipment building has entered the later stage of construction; support is provided in terms of staffing, daily operation funding, logistics support, etc., and the overall regulations are sound.

At the acceptance meeting, Wen Ning said that after the formal operation of the laboratory, the Guanghai Bureau will continue to give strong support in all aspects, and strive to build it into an innovative research platform and talent training base with a higher level of scientific research.
