Mazda sales volume will drop by 10% in China

On January 5th, Mazda China announced its sales in the Chinese market last year. In 2011, Mazda sold a total of 214,799 vehicles in total, a year-on-year decrease of 10%. In December, it sold 23,456 vehicles in a single month, a decrease of 33% year-on-year. However, in December, it also hit the highest single-month sales of Mazda in 2011.

In 2011, FAW Mazda sold a total of 135,455 vehicles, and its sales decreased by 8% year-on-year. Changan Mazda sold 79,344 units a year, a year-on-year decrease of 15%. As of the end of December 2011, the total number of 4S stores of FAW Mazda and Changan Mazda has expanded to 365. Mazda plans to introduce the new Mazda CX-5 SUV equipped with the new generation "Chuangchi Blue Sky Technology" in the middle of this year to further expand its product lineup in China.
