Sewage electromagnetic flowmeter measurement accuracy

Sewage electromagnetic flowmeter is not affected by changes in fluid density, viscosity, temperature, pressure, and conductivity. The sensor-induced voltage signal is linear with the average flow velocity, so the measurement accuracy is high, typically 1%. Since this kind of sensor must maintain a certain proportional relationship between the resistance in the pipeline and the impedance of the measurement circuit, when the measured electrical conductivity of the medium is approximately 10 ohm·cm, it begins to create difficulties in manufacture, and when the electrical conductivity is lower, the principle arises. Difficulty, thermal noise levels increase significantly with increasing internal resistance.

Sewage electromagnetic flowmeter installation environment (1) should be avoided as much as possible in places where the ambient temperature is too high. The integrated structure of the electromagnetic flowmeter is also subject to the environmental temperature of the electronic components and is lower.

(2) The sensor should be installed in a dry and ventilated place to avoid wet and easy to flood the flooded place. It should also avoid direct sunlight and direct rain pouring.

(3) There should be no strong vibration in the pipeline or ground on which the sensor is installed, especially the integral type instrument;

(4) There should be no strong leakage current on the pipeline on which the sensor is installed. It should be as far away as possible from equipment with strong electromagnetic fields, such as large electromechanical devices, large transformers, etc., so as to avoid electromagnetic field interference;

(5) The ambient temperature of the converter is between -10 and 45°C; the relative humidity of the air is ≤85%; there is no strong vibration at the installation site; the ambient air does not contain corrosive gas; the converter should be installed indoors. When installed outdoors, measures should be taken to prevent sun and rain.

Sewage electromagnetic flow meter selection instrument selection is a very important task in the application of the instrument, according to relevant information shows that the instrument in the actual application of 2/3 of the fault is caused by the wrong type of instrument and wrong installation, especially note:

1 measured fluid name;

2 maximum working pressure;

3 maximum flow, minimum flow;

4 highest temperature, lowest temperature.

5 The fluid to be measured must have a certain conductivity, conductivity ≥ 5uS/cm.

Sewage electromagnetic flowmeter protection grade according to the national standard GB4208-84 and the International Electrotechnical Commission standard IEC529-76 standards for enclosure protection:

· IP68: Submersible, long-term work in water.

· IP65: Spray-proof type, allowing the faucet to spray water from the sensor in any direction, with a spray pressure of 30 kPa, a water discharge of 2.5 L/s, and a distance of 3 m.

The degree of protection should be chosen according to the actual situation. The sensor is installed below the ground and often flooded. IP68 should be used. The sensor should be installed above the ground and IP65 should be used.
