·Siemens and ACM to carry out automation and networked vehicle projects

Siemens PLM Software, a division of Siemens Industry Automation, and the American Mobile Center (ACM) announced a new partnership that brings Siemens simulation and test solutions to ACM to support automation and connected vehicle virtualization and reality Test verification. Siemens also participated in similar strategic initiatives in Singapore and the Netherlands.

Siemens PLM Software is the world's leading provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services. The Siemens vehicle simulation and test solution includes Simcenter Prescan software for virtual simulation, developed by TASS International and now part of the Simcenter portfolio. The partnership was formally established on April 25th. Michigan Governor Snyder also attended the cooperation ceremony and signed a memorandum of understanding with the Dutch government on the same day to support the innovation and deployment of networking and automated vehicle technology.
