According to the US procedure, in addition to the Ministry of Commerce, the trade relief case still requires the US International Trade Commission to make a ruling. According to the current schedule, the US International Trade Commission is scheduled to make a final ruling on or about April 30. If the committee also made an affirmative final ruling that the products imported from China would cause substantial damage or threats to the US related industries, the US Department of Commerce will require the customs to impose "double reverse" tariffs on related products.
