1 In the later stage of open-pit mining, the side-retaining ore bodies outside the open-air boundary should be intensified as early as possible. When conditions permit, it is necessary to plan the mining method and development of the transportation system for the mining and mining side during the open-pit mining design;
2 When open-pit mining is still carried out and adopts the caving method to recover the residual ore body, the mining sequence along the strike of the underground mining should adopt the backward mining back to the slope. When the local mining affects the safety of the slope, the operation should be stopped;
3 When using the filling method to recover the residual ore body, the thickness of the pillar between the roof of the stope and the open slope should be ensured;
4 When using the room-column method to recover the side-supporting ore body of the flat open-pit mine, the safety pillar specifications of the boundary shall be determined according to the geological conditions, the location of the waste rock and the distance from the seam to the surface.
