China imported over 90,000 passenger vehicles in July

According to the latest data released by China Imported Automobile Trading Co., Ltd., China imported a total of 93,062 passenger vehicles in July, up 22% year-on-year, of which the strong demand for SUVs was the main reason for growth. Last month's imports of SUVs exceeded 54,000, an increase of 28% from the same period last year. In addition, 35,000 cars and 3,600 cars were imported into cars and MPVs respectively. In the first seven months of this year, the total number of passenger cars imported in China was about 669,000, which was a year-on-year increase of 26%.
