In 2013, China’s import business volume passed over 4 trillion U.S. dollars in time and it will overtake the United States as the nation’s top commercial nation. Among them, the number of outward exports of Chinese instruments has increased significantly, showing a weak growth trend. In 2013, the total value of China's imports reached US$4.16 trillion, which was a year-on-year increase of 7.6% after the adjustment of the RMB exchange rate factor. The US will release its business data for the entire year in February. However, during January to November 2013, total U.S. exports of goods amounted to 3.57 trillion U.S. dollars, which means that China's current foundation is now definitely the world's largest commodity trading nation.

Throughout 2013, the appearance of instrument appearance was relatively weak in the import and export business. In terms of exports, the export growth rate of industrial automation appearance systems, electronic measuring instruments, testing machines, implementation of analytical instruments, medical instruments, etc. was all above 40% in 2013. The increase in industrial automation appearance and electronic measuring instruments with small export volume in the past was as high as 76.9% and 104.5%. In terms of imports, in recent years, China's annual import of predecessor equipment has exceeded 500 billion RMB.

In spite of this, the outward appearance of Chinese instruments still faces serious deficiencies. One of the manifestations of this is that the high-end equipment is left behind in its own research and development. It is estimated that more than 90% of China's high-end equipment must rely on imports. In this environment, the advancement of the instrument development of China's science and technology companies has become one of the key points for the growth of the professional appearance of the instrument.
